KUALA SELANGOR, May 24: A total of 1,500 units of wheeled bins State Government's contribution will be distributed to areas facing illegal dumping in the area.

The President of the Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS), Mohd Azhar Mohamed Ali, said the donation was a string of provisions of the Waste Management Project Traditional Village in 2017 amounted to RM1.78 million. He said MDKS also will build a waste chamber at locations along the barrel recommended Ketua Kampung Kuala Selangor District to prevent rampant illegal landfills.

"Hopefully, this effort will help residents dispose of their waste properly and reduce the problem of illegal dumping. "MDKS always seriously address this issue and look forward to the cooperation of government agencies and the public in order to ensure zero waste illegally Kuala Selangor," he said.

He was speaking at the symbolic handover Wheeled Trash Can to the Council and Leach Bin for Waste Management Project in Kampung Masjid Daerah Kuala Selangor, here, recently. Mohd Azhar said the public who wish to provide information regarding illegal dumping activities can do so through the application of Sparks.

"We are very welcome information from the public so that immediate action can be taken," he said.
